Kriti Kharbanda was born on 29 October 1990 in New Delhi, India. She first appeared on a Spar billboard, which prompted for her to get noticed. This led her to start an acting career, making her debut in the Telugu film Boni in 2009. The following year, she made her Kannada debut in Chiru. She next had roles in the Telugu films Ala Modalaindi, Teen Maar, Ongole Githa, and Om 3D.

Her performance in the 2014 Kannada film Super Ranga earned her wider recognition. For this, she received a Filmfare Award nomination for Best Actress – Kannada. She next starred in the movie Bruce Lee – The Fighter. For this, she was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress -Telugu. She recently starred in the Hindi films Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se and Housefull 4.
